Virtually homeless

BRIEF:
Create awareness and provoke change in Ireland, for the very serious and rapidly growing problem; homelessness.

IDEA:
Young adults are the largest demographic effected and still somehow manage to slip through the cracks of society, mostly because the care of families and children is heavily prioritised. The Peter McVerry Trust is unique, in comparison to other charities that deal with  homelessness, as they believe the first thing a homeless person needs is a home. Without a home people don’t have a real sense of themselves. No home. No identity. To tackle this challenge faced by the charity we are asking young people to deactivate their Facebook accounts for a full week, in an attempt to show them what it really feels like to be a person who experiences homelessness.
